Land Park

One of the more sought-after neighborhoods in Sacramento, Land Park was primarily built in the 1930’s and 1940’s. It features the architectural styles of Tudor, Spanish, Mediterranean and many custom homes that share a little of several styles. A vast number of homes have been remodeled over the decades. Tree-canopied streets are a predominant feature of Land Park, making it a joy to meander down any street.

Land Park’s namesake is William Land Park, just to the south of this residential neighborhood. This 160 acre park is dedicated to giving its patrons a variety of experiences. The Sacramento Zoo, Fairytale Town, and Funderland are favorites for locals and visitors alike. A 9-hole golf course, soccer fields, baseball fields, a basketball court and picnic tables galore rounds out its promise of a great experience.

Within Land Park there are several neighborhoods…to the north, Homeland features more modest homes and lot sizes. College Tract to the south boasts homes facing William Land Park and generous square footage. In between you will find homes of varying sizes and styles.

Favorite stops in Land Park are Tower Café, Vic’s Ice Cream, Taylors Market and Freeport Bakery. With easy access to either Interstate 5, Highway 50 or Interstate 80, Land Park is centrally located for any need.
