Incorporated in 2000, Elk Grove is the second largest city in Sacramento County. Located in the Southern portion of the County, Elk Grove is a popular suburb featuring distinct neighborhoods like Laguna, Stonelake, Valley Hi, and Old Elk Grove. With roots in farming, the city of Elk Grove has expanded to include thousands of residential homes, plenty of shopping, Cosumnes River College, and dozens of public parks. Ranked among the largest school districts in the State of California, Elk Grove is a popular area for families with children and was among the fastest growing cities in the United States during the housing construction boom in the early 2000’s.
Nestled into the heart of the City of Elk Grove and conveniently located between Highway 99 and Interstate 5, Laguna is a well-established community in the Southern part of Sacramento County. Built mostly between the late 1980’s and into the early 2000’s, Laguna features family-friendly homes and desirable schools.
